First Night in the New Home

What a difference a week can make. This was the weekend of October 12th. The rest are the next weekend and there were lots of golfers going by.

Our first night in our new house was October 17th, following the final inspection and occupancy permit the previous day. We don't have much furniture, but it is a great place to stay.

This is looking South across the back of the house. You can see the 10th Green in the background.

Looking off the deck at the green and the valley.
Out the backyard there is a beautiful view of Cedar Creek Canyon. Also to the right is the 10th Fairway.

We still have windows to wash, hardware and blinds to install, but we are beginning to move in. Come and visit when you get a chance.

New Carpet - Nearly Done

The carpet was completed this week and the home really looks finished. There are a few odds and ends to finish up for the final inspection on Thursday.
The master shower stall and bathroom mirrors were done this week.
Master bedroom.

Big basement room.

Yes and there was snow this weekend.

We hope to take up some beds when we go this weekend. We have some extensive cleaning inside and outside to get done.

Rainy Weekend in Star Valley

It was Todd's family's first time up since July 24th and what a time for a cold raining weekend. We had to find indoor work and indoor fun.
I am having fun anyway. See Grandma we can still eat!!!
Who wants to dance with me?
And we even celebrated Shane's Birthday, but we did not have enough candles.
The girls sure have fun together.
No TV. No problem we will just watch DVD's on Grandma's laptop.

It really was cold and rainy, but great to get together. It will be nice to have the house finished so we can enjoy beautiful Star Valley.

Oct 4th in Star Valley

How many wires to I have to strip? Shane is the granite expert and it looks great!!!

And Grandma I love the play room. What would you like from my store?
Everett is still looking for something to do.
Playing is more fun than working.
See how great the cabinets and counter tops look. Pretty cool huh?
