Make a Wish !!!

Make a Wish - what a fantastic program. Because of his life threatening Lukemia Cancer, Everett was granted a WISH. Because he likes camping with this family, he wished for a pop up camp trailer.

He went to the Wishing Room and placed his wish in the Wish Cone below. The Wishing Room was awesome with a water fall and lighted wish trail to follow. The cousins all loved being in the wishing room with Everett.

It was pretty exciting that his wish was granted on Saturday before his Birthday on Monday. He will be 5 years old.
The cousins all got to make picture frames while they were waiting for the program to begin. What Fun!!
Everettt was introduced and received some presents before going outside to see his WISH. What a fun trailer. It will be a great summer.
Below is the Make a Wish Building. What a great facility for such a great program.

Even Gramdma Saunders is ready to Camp with Everett, even though Grandpa perfers the Holiday Inn.

You don't realize how great this Make a Wish Program is until you have an experience with it. Since Everett has experienced the Primary Childrens Hospital and Make a Wish, we are much closer to these organizations. Life is short, enjoy it everyday!!!

National Wildlife Elk Refuge in Jackson Hole Wyoming

The Pinedale Wells Fargo Office had their Holiday Party at the Wildlife Refuge in Jackson. We were able to have a great time on the sleigh ride through the elk herds.

January 11th in Star Valley

Well another week and another foot of snow in Star Valley. Joyce says "are you sure that you want to retire in all this snow?"

Even three feet on the roof. Notice no roof vents or anything through the snow on the roof. Snow is nearly up to the bottom of the windows.

I would say at least 3 feet (waist deep) of snow. It seems to pack down as it settles in and we have a little melting.

Autumn's Day

January 3rd was Autumn's Day. She was baptised. What a great step she has made to follow her Father in Heaven's example. We are very proud of her. Shane's great family.

Craig's great family.

We had a lot of family there to support Autumn. It was a great time to be together.

2nd Try at Christmas 2008

Well after missing the weekend before Christmas, everybody decided to try it again on Christmas Day. This time Todd arrived first, followed by Craig. Even though Shane had the shortest trip, the road was closed. He went through Pocatello and Soda Springs to finally get here about 9:00 pm. We were sure glad to have everyone here safe. As you can see below, Grandpa does finally have a girl.

This time there was nearly 3 feet of powder since the previous weekend. Grandma and I knew it because we shoveled it everyday all week. This time the Golf Course was open and what a time. Even the big Kids loved all the deep powder.

And of course the pile shoveled off the deck was just right to just off the deck into. What fun.

Then Grandma's Girls on her bed had lots of fun. They are already making plans for Grandma's Girl Party.

Since they missed out last week, Todd's kids had to open all their Christmas presents. What fun this Holiday is.

This was really a great time to be together as a family. It makes you realize how important FAMILY is in this life. The love we are able to share and support we recieve from each other is what life is all about.

Grandma and I really enjoyed spending 2 weeks in the new home in Star Valley, even if I did have to go to Pinedale and work for a couple of days.

1st Try at Christmas 2008

Would Christmas Dinner be a Blast without Olives. LOOK GRANDMA - NO HANDS.

We all tried to get together the weekend before Christmas, but Todd was snowed out. We opened presents with Shane and Craig's families. It was fun, but we missed Todd's family.

We only had a foot of snow, so the Golf Course was not open for snowmobiling. So we went around and around the house.

Carter was going through at ditch, you can see his head. The other dark spot that everybody is running to is Jace going head first into the ditch. He was alright, but a little scary.

Quite a feat to keep 5 snowmobiles going around without crashing.

Carter goes faster on his red snowmobile.

Jace cuts the corners to keep up on the yellow one.
